Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with and wonderful world building.
Spellbinding fantasy novel. Blackbird Rising is. . .fantasy, not bound to the conventions of reality as we know it but everything is very believable in the context of the book. The character development is superb. I became really concerned with what happened to the people in the book. This book is suitable for older teens but is deep enough for adults to appreciate it also.
Blackbird Rising. . . is the first book in the Harbingers series, and you can be sure, I’ll be reading the rest. . . What’s really awesome about it, is that everything feels believable. . . it could almost happen, even though it’s definitely not reality. I think one of the strongest parts of this book is the character development. This is character driven, and I really felt like I could connect with the characters. That made this book easy to fly through. Great writing, superb characters, and a fantasy world that feels like I could live in it. I definitely recommend this one!
